More than 25 years of experience in the field of credit, export and trade finance in Geneva/Switzerland.

Expert in banking economy with Swiss federal diploma - corporate credit section Certified documentary credit specialist by the IFS Institute, UK (Certification supported by the ICC in Paris/France)

Philippe started his career in 1995 at BNP Paribas Bank in Geneva as a Senior Documentary Credit Specialist, where he held this position until the end of 2000.

He was then appointed as a superior bank officer and worked as a Senior Credit Manager in international trade and commodity export finance in several specialized trade financing banking institutions, such as Credit Suisse, ING and BNP Paribas, until the end of 2009.

As of 2010, Philippe started to provide advisory services, the structuring of financing operations and export risk management services to industrials, commodity trading companies, wholesalers, private investors, factoring companies and banks in Switzerland and abroad.

In 2013, he created Commodity Trade Invest (CTI), a Geneva-based company dedicated to this activity.

At the end of 2013, with the increase of the field needs in professional training, Philippe launched in parallel to CTI a separate activity of trainer (https://www.tfc-ge.com), in order to provide staff coaching, the set-up of tailored training program and workshop in collaboration with business line managers or department head of companies, banking players and investment funds in the alternative credit sector, such as Credit Suisse.

Philippe participates as well in the Certificate in International Trade Finance run by the Institut Supérieur de Formation Bancaire de Genève (ISFB), an association created by the private bankers of Geneva running post graduate studies programs in banking.

This certificate is recognized by the State Department of Geneva (DIP), by the foundation Geneva Financial Center as well as by the Swiss Shipping and Trading Association STSA.

In particular, he is in charge of the inventory and credit insured receivables financing teaching program, as well as the workshop and case study of a structuring and the settlement of a complete goods import and export transaction with storage at the port and hedging of the Commodity price risk exposures through financial derivatives.

For two years, from 2018 to 2020, CTI created, managed and administered a branch in Geneva for a foreign investment group and Philippe managed the credit division of their Luxembourg asset backed securities vehicle structuring credit facilities, purchasing commercial assets and issuing bonds in private placement to investors, on behalf of industrial and exporters borrowers involved in international trade, on the European capital markets, through the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.

Philippe has also been a speaker at several industry seminars organized by the the Zug Commodities Association, Reuters, Bloomberg and Credendo (formerly Garant).

He is also a member of the Swiss Export Association, which has over 25,000 members.
